EMILE GRIFFITH TO APPEAR AT BROADWAY BOXING!!

***BOXING LEGEND WILL APPEAR TO SIGN COPIES OF  “Nine…Ten…And Out!” ON FEBRUARY 25TH AT BB KINGS BLUES CLUB***

New York (FEBRUARY 15th, 2009) – Six time world champion and Hall of Fame Boxer Emile Griffith will appear at DiBella Entertainment’s Broadway Boxing series as it makes its anticipated 2009 debut, on Wednesday, February 25 at the intimate BB King Blues Club & Grill, located in New York City’s Times Square.

The main event features the WBC # 6 rated light heavyweight and Brooklyn’s own Shaun George taking on former IBF Continental African cruiserweight titlist Jaffa “African Assassin” Ballogou.
 
 “I think it is important to get Emile’s story out there,” commented DBE president and the book’s publisher Lou DiBella.  “I am honored to have him at my event meeting fans and signing books.  Nine…Ten…and. Out is beautifully written by Ron Ross and deserves to be recognized.”
 
Also appearing on the card is Undefeated Heavyweight Tor Hamer, middleweight Philip Jackson-Benson, light-heavyweight Will Rosinsky, and Junior Lightweight Luis Del Valle.  All four fighters also won the NY Golden Gloves, as Emile Griffith did in 1958.

“I am excited to make an appearance at Broadway Boxing and share my story,” said Griffith.  “Also I like to come out and support all the up-and-coming local NY pro fighters and future champions.”
